I love this microwave lid! I actually first saw this at my mom's house. She had it in her microwave and I immediately wanted one for my place. It�s so convenient and prevents things from splattering all over the microwave. It has airways for the food to heat yet it minimizes food from popping all over. Very straightforward to use and cleans really easily.

This is very helpful in keeping your microwave clean. It doesn�t let the spills and flying grease from hitting the microwave. My microwave is pretty big and this perfectly fits in there. I have an older style microwave that doesn't have a rotating platform. This cover actually helps reduce the hot spots in the food, and it's a lot easier to pop in in the dishwasher if things start getting messy than it is to scrub the top, sides and door of the microwave.

The dome shape of this microwave cover is a bit taller and larger than others that I have tried, so it does not touch my food at all, which is the one thing that annoyed me about other microwave covers. My microwave has remained clean and practically maintenance free because of this item!

It does stick securely to the top of my oven and then is easily lowered to cover a plate or bowl of food to be zapped. No more looking for a lid or covering stuff with paper towels and hoping that they do not touch the food.
